Why does Innodb Engine use the B+ tree data structure for indexing?
Another interview from the last few weeks.
Before start
I got enough labels from here and here and also here.
“arrogant”, “trouble maker”, and “bad interviewer”. Well thank you, I will try to be better next time (like this one) :)
Here only I want to answer one question.
“Do you really expect 7 years+ to know so detail?”, “What’s the point of knowing so much detail?”.
Well, 7 years of experience on something could either be :
- A. 1-year experience repeated 7 times.
- B. Improving the understanding of something continually for 7 years.
- C. Someone who likes technology only short of experience. there is a chance some juniors spend a lot of time learning something deeply to perform better during interviews. that’s fine. so at least we know he likes technology. we know that when spending time to learn something deeply which you dislike, is painful, and when someone tries to do so, often there are “some gaps” in the understanding, we will find out.
- D. Lying on the CV. meaning put something like “mastering A” or “deep understanding of B” which seems not.
We want to shortlist B or C.
Also think about this, how important to find out the root cause when solving an issue? does a deep understanding of something help us solve…
