As a developer we are having too many Agile meetings

Let’s find out how to do it right and get the maximum value.

After writing codes for decade. I have seen some devs (also i used to) not interested in any meeting. Yes we hate it, waste time, many many times.

We have to do context switch — stop coding and pick up later(depends on the complexity, need 10mins-1hour) which is a waste of time , If we get nothing from the meeting, it’s anoying.

Unfortunately, meetings are everywhere , no matter if you are in scrum team or kanban or waterfall (you can start searching jobs if this is the case 🙂); you are in startup or corp or FANG. you can never run away from meetings. the only way is learn how to deal with it in better way.

Different type of meetings.

Feature Review/Presentation

It could be Feature review or workflow review or design review or any internal presentation. How many times you have been sitting in an meeting listen to someone non-stop talking for 30 minutes? and some times even worse, you have no idea what he is trying to say ? or some ones keep interupting the presenter make the meeting not productive?or another person showing everyone a “perfect picture of the sky” but nothing could be landed on earth (after wasting everyone 20 minutes) ?

you are not alone .and do not be that person .

If you are the one to explain how it works, remember always give others some time to…
